Launch of Save The Dream Hub

Launch Save the Dream Hub Hub

Project Ujuzi is Save the Dream Tanzania's newest and most ambitious initiative—designed to transform the lives of street children and youth by providing them not just shelter, but a future filled with purpose, skill, and dignity. The project aims to identify and collect 100 children and youth currently living on the streets of Dar es Salaam, offering them a permanent residence where they can receive care, guidance, and essential life skills. At its core, Project Ujuzi seeks to replace hopelessness with opportunity, empowering young people with the education, behaviors, and mindset they need to build a meaningful life and contribute positively to their communities. Our journey began with an inspiring outreach event, where the Save the Dream Tanzania team, alongside renowned Yanga FC soccer player Clement Mzize, met with children living in the streets to speak with them directly, earn their trust, and share a message of hope. Clement's involvement not only motivated the youth but also amplified our message across the community, proving that every child regardless of their background—deserves a chance to dream and succeed. His support helped us officially launch our Project Ujuzi Fundraising Bonanza, a community event featuring a friendly football match, fun games, and shared meals aimed at raising awareness and generating funds for the project. Through this initiative, we plan to create a safe, nurturing environment where the children can access both formal and vocational education.
